Professional Summary
With over a decade of experience and a passion for both video editing and audio production, I am well versed in all stages of the media production pipeline and currently looking for employment which will utilise these skills.
I am very creative with the ability to use synaesthesia and prior knowledge to quickly envision ideas and efficiently identify and resolve problems, along with the tenacity to see tasks through to completion where failure is not an option.
Interests
I am a part of a collective of friends who created a digital music record label in 2014 and ran it for 5 years. Throughout its lifetime it had accumulated over 1.6 million streams on one site alone with over 30 paid releases from artists who are regularly world touring. A sister label was also established in 2016 as a collaborative effort with a crew of artists of whom were well established in the scene.
Along with running the label I also created promotional videos, banners and almost all other media for the label. I have also organised and created two music videos for each label, directed and edited in Premiere and AE by myself, both filmed in the same day for maximum efficiency.
I have been interested in music & other media since a young age, starting at the age of 12 with a YouTube channel which consisted of music mashups and video montages that I had created. These were created using Sony Vegas and eventually After Effects in 2010. Over the years I have become more experienced working in AE as well as Sony ACID creating music with over 10 years experience in both softwares.
Having a thirst for knowledge, I am always looking for new methods and opportunities to improve my skills and create better projects. I constantly research tutorials online and have learnt some useful methods such as implementing coding into videos using Javascript in AE and phase canceling when using audio in ACID.
